The third single from her imminently arriving new EP is a bouncy combination of nostalgic processed drum parts and sugary, soft synth pads. 'Lonely Loving Me' is easily Hockeysmith's poppiest cut to date, showing off a new-found playful streak through its anthemic vocals. Lyrically examining the rocky road of romance, Annie explained, "I wrote this in a cabin in Cornwall one winter after listening to tuns and tuns of early Kylie Minogue. It explores the idea of loving and being loved as an ambitious person.
